The Authority consists of seven members who are residents of the state and appointed by the Governor. Not more than four of the seven members shall be of the same political party. One of the members shall be or shall have been a trustee, director, comptroller or other employee of a public or not for profit hospital, knowledgeable in health care construction and financing.One member shall be a person experienced in and having a favorable reputation for skill, knowledge and experience in the field of health facility architecture. These members shall be appointed and serve for terms of five years and shall be eligible for reappointment. A member whose term has expired shall serve until either reappointed or a successor has been appointed.
Michael P. Wilson
Coeur d’Alene
Mr. Wilson is a Self-employed business consultant. He was first appointed in June 1998 and his term as a member expires July 1, 2028. Mr. Wilson currently serves the Authority as chairman, chairs the board’s Audit Committee, and serves on the Advocacy Committee.
Doug Crabtree
Ammon
Mr. Crabtree is a retired hospital CEO and current professor at Idaho State University. He was first appointed in October 2023 and his term as a member expires July 1, 2028. Mr. Crabtree currently serves the Authority as vice chairman, and also serves on the board’s Audit Committee.
John Rick Katovich, MD.
Harrison
Dr. Katovich is a retired family practice physician. He was first appointed in February 2000 and his term as a member expires July 1, 2024.
Kerrie Murray
Boise
Ms. Murray is a retired banker and civic leader. She was first appointed in May 2021 and her term as a member expires July 1, 2030. Ms. Murray serves on the board’s Advocacy Committee.
Tom Katsilometes
Boise
Mr. Katsilometes is a retired Commissioner of the Idaho State Tax Commission. He was first appointed in February 2000 and his term as a member expires July 1, 2024. Mr. Katsilometes chairs the board’s Advocacy Committee.
B. J. Swanson
Troy
Ms. Swanson is a retired Vice President and Manager of AmericanWest Bank, retired Board Chair of Gritman Medical Center, owner of Principal Analytics, a business consulting and construction management firm, and Latah County Treasurer since 2019. She was first appointed in October 2012 and her term as a member expires July 1, 2026. Ms. Swanson also serves on the board’s Audit Committee.
Tim Miller
Boise
Mr. Miller is a retired architect with decades of experience leading his firm’s healthcare practice. He was first appointed in August 2025 and his term as a member expires July 1, 2027.
